My day consists of extensive parent, student and district staff contact. Interaction with the 2 school bus companies who are contracted to provide our student transportation happens throughout the day to resolve the complaints and requests that come through my office. Obtaining information from within the district, computer software system for transportation and the busing companies and creating reports to monitor and report on operations. Actually discussed this just recently with a friend. Hear me out, I know Oklahoma sounds like a bland and boring location, but I actually think there's value to it. So traditionally the teams make Fallout games about places they know, and I know Oklahoma (unfortunately). Lived there for years and if it's one thing I can say, Oklahoma is total shit lol. If you ever drive north to the border with Kansas, the grass suddenly turns greener, there's flowers that weren't there before, and everything just seems nicer. Why? Well a lot of people don't realize this, but Oklahoma is actually the 46th state and one of the last to join in. Why? Because Oklahoma was the shitty territory the Native Americans were pushed to before we figured out Oklahoma had oil and took that too. There's nothing in Oklahoma. The only thing to appreciate about it is wide open spaces and clear blue skies; it's a fascinating look if you come from a cloudier, rainier area, but it quickly gets dull because it's nothing but grass (that looks somewhat dead) for miles.
