I soaked up whatever knowledge I could and enjoyed every last second of it. Now I want more. Background (Education) MBA, BA in Econ, BA in Chinese (yup! ). Debating whether or not to get a degree in construction management and pursue CMAA certification down the line. I do not have formal degrees in construction or engineering; something I see listed as a preferred requirement in many job ads. Location / Target Positions / Salary Requirements Job location: Flexible, want to stay west of Colorado. Specifically looking for positions in Reno. Wife and I want to live near the mountains. We currently own a home in Sacramento and are looking for a new adventure elsewhere. Target Positions: Either a junior PM (stepping stone, foot in-the-door type of job) for a larger GC where I could learn solid fundamentals in construction PM work and move up the corporate ladder quickly, or a more senior PM role working directly with a developer or small GC where I'd be working closely with principals. Salary Requirements: $75k is probably the lowest offer I'd consider unless there were opportunities for rapid advancement and promotion within 3-6 months of hire.

Do the *chefs/*Swiss healthcare system appear welcoming towards EU docs wanting to work in Switzerland? (In the event that I do get one of course haha) Any other relevant subreddits/blogs (like Quora etc) you think would be useful for me to look into? I absolutely love Switzerland and it would be my dream to be able to work there one day! :) Thank you!

I feel really exhausted by this and honestly depressed. I spent 6 years building a really strong network of professionals to only have to get up and leave it all. I'm at the point of applying to diet aide/wellness coach/weight loss club positions. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Now, this is where my final straw comes in, and it's hell of ironic. In November of 2020, one of coworkers at Subway Q called out due to babysitting issues. We have two closers at my store, and on this particular day, I was one of them. They called in someone to replace her, and lets name them, Fred. Fred was part time at Subway Q, and he had a full time job. Fred had a cough, and fever. I texted my GM, and told her this. I suspected COVID, and asked if there was anyway you could ask for him to be replaced because I didn't feel comfortable. She texted me back, and, told me, "Oh, it's probably a nasty cold. If he wants the hours, there's nothing I can do. " I should've walked out then, but didn't. His full-time job sent him home the next day, and told him to get tested. Next day, I get a text from him saying he had tested positive for COVID. So, it's Thursday, and I'm getting tested. Tested negative, but was told to quarantine. On Friday, I started displaying symptoms. Got tested again, and tested positive for COVID.

5-year Plan Serve as principal project manager on large scale projects at established GC, or; Serve as owner's PM on large scale developments, or; Establish boutique GC for specialty, high-end home builds, or; Serve as a developer on smaller scale projects. Compensation target between $150-300k. Previous Job Search Methodology In my previous life as an IT project manager on healthcare projects, I had the luxury of headhunters hounding me day and night for my services. I knew all major hospitals and who were implementing EMRs, too. So, I'd stalk HR and hiring managers through LinkedIn, open up a dialogue and get interviews. I also had a broad network of people I've worked for in the past who would feed me leads. Last resort was checking through job boards like Indeed. Pre-COVID, I'd hit up PMI networking events trying to get the inside scoop on what local projects were happening. I have limited contacts in construction, COVID has killed networking events. So, starting from scratch here.
